CIT Stays Suits Over Retaliatory Hormone Duties

Law360, New York (September 10, 2009, 1:56 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has stayed the large number of suits alleging that retaliatory duties imposed on European food products in the wake of an EU ban on hormone-treated beef have been improperly collected, ruling that the cases should be held in abeyance until an appeals court rules on the issue.
