JPMorgan Makes $203M Bid For EcoSecurities Shares

Law360, New York (September 14, 2009, 5:33 PM EDT) -- A JPMorgan Chase & Co. unit and EcoSecurities Group PLC on Monday announced a £122.9 million ($203.2 million) deal under which the investment bank will buy the Irish carbon trader to bolster its presence in the growing sector.

The offer appeared to have the blessing of one of Dublin-based EcoSecurities' co-founders but not the other, and a competing bid was possible.
