Law360, New York (September 17, 2009, 1:30 PM EDT) -- As the initial public offering market starts to show signs of a revival, companies that have long been aiming to tap the public markets are either taking old plans off the shelf or looking to prepare new ones, putting themselves in a position to take advantage of a recovering economy, attorneys said.
“There is a buzz. There are a lot of companies either dusting off their draft S-1's or contemplating doing so,” said David Saul, a partner at Ropes & Gray LLP.
