FDIC Releases Enforcement Manual To Promote Transparency

Law360 (December 3, 2019, 5:03 PM EST) -- The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has published its full enforcement manual for the first time in what the agency is characterizing as an effort to shed more light on a key area of its operations.

The FDIC announced the release of the manual, which lays out the policies and procedures its staff use when pursuing enforcement actions, in a letter sent Monday to banks insured by the agency and posted the complete document on its website.
