Ford Seat Maker Sues Supplier For Faulty Components

Law360, New York (September 17, 2009, 4:07 PM EDT) -- A company that manufactures seats for specific Ford Motor Co. vehicles has sued parts supplier Global Automotive Systems LLC for breach of contract, alleging it supplied defective seat parts.

CRH North America filed the complaint Aug. 13 in Michigan's Macomb County Circuit Court, but the lawsuit was removed to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan Sept. 16.

CRH manufactures seat track and seat adjusters for Johnson Controls Inc., which in turn supplies completed seats to Ford for use in its F-series vehicles....
