Judge Allows SeraCare Life To Delay Auction

Law360, New York (October 24, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal bankruptcy judge has granted SeraCare Life Sciences Inc.’s plea to delay the exit-financing auction that will allow the winning bidder to fund the health care company’s exit from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Judge Louise DeCarl Adler approved the extension late last week after SeraCare shareholders, led by Harbinger Capital Partners, agreed to the time delay.
