Altair Files Shelf Registration For $150M Offering

Law360, New York (September 21, 2009, 1:25 PM EDT) -- Energy storage system provider Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. has filed a shelf registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that would allow it to sell up to $150 million of its common stock and warrants over a three-year period.

The Reno, Nev.-based company, which provides energy storage systems for clean, efficient power and energy management, said Friday that it didn't anticipate needing access to the capital markets immediately.

The terms of any future offering would be established at the time of the offering, Altair said....
