NLRB Issues Long-Awaited Ruling on Definition of Supervisors

Law360, New York (October 24, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- On October 3, 2006, the National Labor Relations Board issued its long-awaited decision in Oakwood Healthcare, Inc., 348 N.L.R.B. No. 37 (September 29, 2006) (slip op.). In this case, the Board finally resolved the concerns surrounding the definition of “supervisor” under Section 2(11) of the National Labor Relations Act.
