Medcomp, Arrow Settle Cathether Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 22, 2009, 3:01 PM EDT) -- The two sides having reached a settlement, a federal judge has dismissed Medical Components Inc.'s infringement suit against Arrow International Inc. over a patent related to catheter assembly.

Judge Paul Diamond handed down the order Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Terms of the settlement between the competing Pennsylvania-based catheter manufacturers were not made public, but an attorney for Medcomp said his client “was satisfied with the agreement.”
