EPA To Launch Emissions Reporting System In 2010

Law360, New York (September 22, 2009, 5:54 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will require large producers of greenhouse gases to begin collecting emissions data for the first time under a new reporting system set to begin in 2010, the agency announced Tuesday.

A reporting system will provide a better understanding of where greenhouse gases are coming from and guide the development of new policies to reduce emissions, according to the EPA.
