Specter Urges ITC To Keep CTL Steel Plate Duties

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 11:52 AM EDT) -- Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., has joined the push to maintain anti-dumping duties on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from China, Russia and Ukraine, saying in a letter to the U.S. International Trade Commission that any change to the order could be disastrous to Pennsylvania's steel industry.

Specter filed his letter Tuesday with the ITC, which is winding down its second sunset review of the current duties on cut-to-length carbon steel plate.
