Miller, Insurers Settle Over Underage Marketing Suits

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 1:42 PM EDT) -- The former Miller Brewing Co. has settled a breach of contract suit brought against a raft of insurers over their alleged failure to defend and indemnify Miller in several bodily injury and wrongful death class actions accusing the beverage maker of marketing alcoholic products to underage consumers.

Relying on a stipulation signed by all the parties, Judge Lynn Adelman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin on Wednesday dismissed all claims against the defendants.
