9th Circ. Scraps Broadcom Co-Founder's Plea Appeal

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 5:47 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Thursday dismissed a challenge brought by semiconductor maker Broadcom Corp. co-founder Henry Samueli to an order rejecting his plea bargain on criminal charges of lying to regulators during a stock options backdating probe, saying the court lacks jurisdiction to review a sentence before it has been finalized.
