Clock Reset For Collins & Aikman Again

Law360 (October 26, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has given Collins & Aikman approval for more time to file its exclusive plan to exit bankruptcy protection.

Judge Steve Rhodes of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Eastern Michigan ruled Tuesday that the plan proposal period is being extended from October 27 to December 27. He also extended the solicitation period by 60 days to February 27.

The extension is the sixth given to the company since it filed for bankruptcy protection in last May.
