Judge Orders Guidant To Unseal Some Pricing Data

Law360, New York (October 26, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district judge in Minnesota has ordered certain documents to be unsealed in the aftermath of a settled dispute in which Boston Scientific Corp.’s Guidant subsidiary filed a lawsuit against a consulting firm that published pricing information on Guidant’s pacemakers.

While U.S. Judge Donovan Frank allowed Guidant’s sales data, contracts and proprietary information to remain under wraps, the judge ordered Guidant and consulting company Aspen Healthcare Metrics on Tuesday to disclose their summary judgment briefs to the public.
