Baker Botts, Shearman Partners Form New Firm

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 5:39 PM EDT) -- Two prominent attorneys have announced that they've broken off from their firms to start a new national litigation boutique that will focus on complex civil litigation, white collar criminal defense and U.S. Supreme Court and appellate cases.

Jeffrey A. Lamken, the former head of the Supreme Court and appellate practice for Baker Botts LLP in Washington, D.C., and Steven F. Molo, who was a litigation partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York, announced the move in a statement Tuesday.
