Most Teflon Claims Against DuPont Fail To Stick

Law360, New York (September 29, 2009, 3:30 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed most of the product liability claims brought by a group of West Virginia residents over their alleged exposure to carcinogenic chemicals used in Teflon from DuPont Co.'s Washington Water Works plant.

On Sept. 28 U.S. District Judge Joseph Goodwin chucked most of the Parkersburg citizens' lawsuit against the chemical giant, tossing claims of negligence, nuisance, trespassing and battery.
