Ledbetter Can't Save Cops' Age Bias Suit: 11th Circ.

Law360, New York (September 30, 2009, 4:51 PM EDT) -- A group of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., police officers has lost a bid to revive an age discrimination case against city officials, with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit rejecting a novel argument that the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act rendered void a waiver of the officers' claims.
