9th Circ. Returns Philippines Mine Suit To State Court

Law360, New York (September 30, 2009, 2:02 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has sent a mining pollution suit brought by citizens of an island in the Philippines against a company absorbed by Barrick Gold Corp. back to state court in Nevada following years of jurisdictional disputes between the parties.
