To Rebrand Outside U.S. Following Setback In Trademark Suit

Law360 (April 8, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- will change its name outside the U.S. following a setback last week for the Linux vendor in Microsoft’s far-reaching trademark litigation against the smaller competitor. will unveil its international name next week, said Michael Robertson, founder and chief executive officer of the company.

In February, said it plans to re-launch as “Lin---s” in countries where Microsoft has successfully barred the sale of the Linux software platform.
