Dura Automotive Sputters Down Ch. 11 Road

Law360, New York (October 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Dura Automotive Systems Inc. sought refuge under Chapter 11 on Monday, joining a long procession of auto suppliers in bankruptcy protection amid growing turmoil in the auto sector.

The company, based in Rochester Hills, Mich., followed more than a half-dozen large suppliers, including Collins & Aikman Corp., Dana Corp., Delphi Corp. and Tower Automotive Inc., which have already filed for bankruptcy.
