Emerson Sues Former Top Exec Over Move To Tyco

Law360, New York (October 2, 2009, 5:14 PM EDT) -- Emerson Electric Co. has accused one of its former executives of breaching a noncompetition covenant with the technology company by joining rival Tyco International Ltd.

Defendant David A. Dunbar — who held a variety of high-level positions with Emerson dating back to 1997 — successfully removed the case to the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Missouri on Wednesday.
