Samsung's ITC Case Against Spansion Stayed

Law360, New York (October 2, 2009, 5:18 PM EDT) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s infringement complaint against Spansion Inc. in the U.S. International Trade Commission over flash memory patents has been stayed by the bankruptcy court overseeing Spansion's Chapter 11 case.

Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Thursday granted a request from the ad hoc group of floating-rate noteholders to enforce the automatic stay against a Section 337 complaint Samsung filed with the ITC on July 31.
