Philly Paramedics To Appeal Overtime Ruling

Law360 (October 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Fired up after a district judge denied their motion for overtime compensation under federal labor laws, more than 100 Philadelphia Fire Department paramedics have decided to appeal that ruling.

The paramedics lodged a formal notice last week in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania of their plan to appeal the grant of summary judgment to the city of Philadelphia in the overtime payment dispute to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
