Legal Industry Jobs Severely Reduced In September

Law360, New York (October 5, 2009, 6:55 PM EDT) -- The legal industry has lost about 34,000 jobs since September 2008, and 13,600 of them were lost over the last month alone — a significant decline even when adjusted for the season — according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The BLS released the establishment data on Friday.
