Wash. Dealt Setback In FLSA Suit Over Prison Pay

Law360, New York (October 7, 2009, 4:21 PM EDT) -- The Washington State Department of Corrections has lost a bid to undo a decision denying the department's motion for summary judgment in an overtime case brought by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Judge Robert J. Bryan of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on Tuesday rejected the Department of Corrections' motion to have him to reconsider his Aug. 31 ruling denying summary judgment.
