Tenet Healthcare Names New Compliance Officer

Law360, New York (October 31, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- In the wake of shelling out about $900 million to settle allegations that it bilked Medicare, Tenet Healthcare Corp. said Monday that it has named a chief compliance officer to supervise the company’s ethics program.

Audrey T. Andrews succeeds Steven W. Ortquist, who will leave the company later this year.

Ortquist, who joined Tenet in August 2005, helped the company successfully negotiate and plan the implementation of a corporate integrity agreement with the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services....
