Compuware Aims To Buy Gomez For $295M

Law360, New York (October 7, 2009, 3:47 PM EDT) -- Software services provider Compuware Corp. plans to acquire privately held Web software developer Gomez Inc. for $295 million in cash, in a transaction expected to gain regulatory approval and close in November.

Gomez, based in Lexington, Mass., has 272 employees around the world, and “substantially all” of them will stay with Compuware after the acquisition, Compuware said Wednesday.
