Norway's StatoilHydro Offers $900M In Notes

Law360, New York (October 8, 2009, 2:28 PM EDT) -- Norwegian oil company StatoilHydro ASA has issued $900 million in 2.90 percent notes due in October 2014.

This issuance will increase the company's financial flexibility, the company said, and proceeds from the notes will go toward general corporate purposes.

The notes, which are guaranteed by subsidiary StatoilHydro Petroleum AS, are only the latest in a string of notes issuances by the oil company.
