S. Korea, EU Sight End On Free-Trade Talks

Law360, New York (October 8, 2009, 2:14 PM EDT) -- Negotiations of a free-trade agreement between members of the European Union and South Korea reportedly are drawing near a conclusion, with officials on both sides of the bargaining table announcing that they hope to finish talks in the coming weeks.

The office of South Korean Trade Minister Kim Jong-Hoon said Thursday that both sides were working to resolve the few final issues in the draft free-trade agreement and expected to sign the treaty in Brussels on Oct. 15, international newswire AFP reported.
