Pfizer, Wyeth Drugs Put On FDA Watch List

Law360, New York (October 8, 2009, 4:49 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating whether Pfizer Inc.'s cancer drug Sutent causes liver failure, one of about a dozen drugs under scrutiny for potential safety problems.

The FDA on Thursday released a list of drugs that have been identified as having shown potential signals of serious risks or new safety information in the first three months of 2009.
