Will Skadden's $11M Ukraine Deal Alter Firms' Foreign Work?
Law360 (May 15, 2020, 8:03 PM EDT) -- In 2012, the Ukrainian government commissioned an independent study into whether its prosecution of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was politically motivated. A team from Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP spent more than 6,000 hours on the report. The work earned the firm about $5 million.
But it ended up costing Skadden far more than that.
