Nvidia Postpones Chipset Development For Intel Feud

Law360, New York (October 9, 2009, 4:46 PM EDT) -- Nvidia Corp. has announced it will postpone further investment into chipsets compatible with Intel Corp.'s latest generation of microprocessors until a dispute over licensing agreements between the two companies is resolved in court next year.

In a statement Thursday, Nvidia said that because Intel has made “improper claims” to customers and to the markets that it is not licensed to the new central processing unit bus interface, and because of Intel's unfair business tactics, “it is effectively impossible for us to market chipsets for future CPUs.”...
