SPH Secrets Suit Against Foley & Lardner Dismissed

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 4:03 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit in which patent-holding company SPH America LLC accused Foley & Lardner LLP of misappropriating trade secrets the firm obtained while representing Kyocera Corp. in a separate matter, calling SPH's case "groundless."

Judge Leonie M. Brinkema of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia said the litigation was over at a hearing on Friday on a Sept. 29 order to show cause.
