Chevron Wins Reversal Of $2.5M Energen Enviro Ruling

Law360, New York (October 12, 2009, 1:57 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has declared on reconsideration that Energen Resources Corp. will have to pay Chevron USA Inc. about $2.5 million to indemnify it for a 2005 settlement over chemical contamination, enforcing an agreement the two energy companies signed in 1990.
