Ford, UAW Reach Deal On Worker Concessions

Law360, New York (October 13, 2009, 12:56 PM EDT) -- Ford Motor Co. and the United Auto Workers union on Tuesday announced a tentative agreement regarding additional modifications to their 2007 contract that will help Ford improve its current and long-term domestic competitiveness.

The deal was presented Tuesday afternoon to National Ford Council delegates for a recommendation and is subject to ratification by UAW Ford workers, the union said in a statement.
