Home Depot Sued Over "Expected" Unpaid Overtime

Law360, New York (November 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A purported class action lawsuit has been filed by employees against the Home Depot Inc., accusing the building materials giant of failing to pay overtime and expecting employees to work overtime off the clock.

In the complaint, the plaintiff employees accused the Home Depot of violating provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, by “unlawfully depriving” them of overtime compensation.

The lawsuit was filed Oct. 31, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
