Hyundai Investigated For Possible Antitrust Violations

Law360, New York (November 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Korean auto maker Hyundai Group Inc. has become the subject of a probe by the Korean Fair Trade Commission, which has launched an investigation into allegations of anti-competitive practices at the company.

The regulator has targeted the company’s auto production arm, Hyundai Motor, and several of its affiliates, including Hyundai Card, Hyundai Glovis, the company’s shipping unit, and Hyundai Capital, which provides loans to customers.
