ARRA Impacts On Health Care

Law360, New York (October 15, 2009, 11:07 AM EDT) -- The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the new federal stimulus law, authorized $787 billion in federal money to revitalize the American economy.

The 400-plus page act is packed with implications for all sectors of the economy, including health care, but there are four particularly significant health industry impacts within the act.


A sizeable portion of ARRA relates to health care. Of its $787 billion total, $149 billion, roughly one-fifth, is health-related.
