Ranbaxy Demands Website Stop Selling Lipitor Generic In U.S.

Law360 (April 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ranbaxy has weighed in on Pfizer’s lawsuit against a website that sells a generic version of blockbuster cholesterol fighter Lipitor, demanding that the vendor stops selling generic drugs that have not been approved for sale in the United States.

The Indian drug maker said it does not recognize or endorse the internet pharmacy look4generics (http://www.look4generics.com), which is targeted by Pfizer’s lawsuit.
