High Court Shields Anti-Gay Petition Signers For Now

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 6:11 PM EDT) -- Supporters of a ballot measure in Washington aimed at vetoing a state law extending benefits to gay couples have won a temporary stay from the U.S. Supreme Court of a federal appeals court ruling that permitted the public release of their names.
