Law360, New York (October 20, 2009, 2:29 PM EDT) -- Key trading nations have agreed on a new plan for concluding the long-stalled Doha Development Round talks, but World Trade Organization Director-General Pascal Lamy says negotiators must pick up the pace significantly if they want to meet their goal of wrapping things up in 2010.
As part of a report presented to a meeting of trade ministers in Tanzania on Tuesday, Lamy said it would be “difficult to get to 2010 without a serious acceleration of pace.”
