EU Regulator Publishes Guidance For Markets Disclosure
Law360, London (July 16, 2020, 1:23 PM BST) -- Europe's markets regulator has set out guidance to help ensure that companies based in the bloc set out complete and consistent information to investors in the prospectuses that they publish when they plan to float securities on regulated markets.
The European Securities and Markets Authority has published guidelines on disclosure requirements that businesses must follow when they issue prospectuses to investors. The legal document describes an entity's main business, its financing, shareholding structure and the securities that are being issued or admitted to trading.
