Beverage Distributor Seeks New Life For Contract Suit

Law360, New York (October 20, 2009, 4:44 PM EDT) -- Kay Beer Distributing Inc. is asking a federal appeals court to revive a contract dispute alleging the company is owed compensation for its loss of distribution rights for Glaceau bottled water when the Coca-Cola Co. purchased the brand.

Kay Beer filed its notice of appeal with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin on Monday, after Judge William C. Griesbach dismissed the case at trial on Oct. 6 before it reached a jury.
