Steptoe & Johnson Snags Ex-K&L Gates Power Partner

Law360 (July 28, 2020, 4:01 PM EDT) -- Steptoe & Johnson LLP has announced it's added a longtime K&L Gates LLP partner with experience handling electric regulatory issues before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

William Keyser joined the firm earlier this month and will be based out of Washington, D.C., after a 17-year stint at K&L Gates. He represents utility clients and developers with regulatory issues that often involve FERC, according to Steptoe & Johnson.

Though he has formed a lot of good friendships at K&L Gates, Keyser said he made the move due to the quality of the opportunity that was presented.
