SEC Picks Another Latham Partner For Leadership Role

Law360 (November 3, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has hired a partner from the international law firm Latham & Watkins LLP to serve as the agency's deputy general counsel for legal policy and administrative practice.

The attorney, Alexander F. Cohen, is currently a resident in Latham & Watkins' Hong Kong office, and from October 2001 through July 2006 was based in the firm's London office. He plans to join the SEC in mid-November.
