E.On Accepts Lightened Conditions On Endesa Bid

Law360, New York (November 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- E.On has said it accepts and welcomes the Spanish Industry Ministry’s decision to lighten the conditions the National Energy Commission had originally imposed on the German company in its bid to acquire Spanish rival Endesa.

Most significantly, the Spanish Industry Ministry will not require E.On or Endesa to divest any of its assets, according to E.On.
