Eurotunnel Creditors Consider Liquidation: Report

Law360, New York (November 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The creditors of beleaguered Eurotunnel PLC are reportedly debating whether forcing the company into liquidation would be the best way to recoup money from the bankrupt channel operator.

On Monday, The Guardian reported that insiders had indicated that creditors are mulling whether liquidation might be a better alternative than the restructuring proposal recently submitted by Eurotunnel.

Last week, the embattled channel operator shipped off its restructuring plan proposal to creditors after months of negotiation.
