Women Make Few Inroads Into Firm Leadership: Study

Law360, New York (October 26, 2009, 8:30 PM EDT) -- Nearly half of major U.S. law firms have no women at all among their top 10 rainmakers, according to a 2009 survey produced by the National Association of Women Lawyers.

Another third of the country's top law firms count only one woman among the top 10 rainmakers. Almost three-quarters of firms, 72 percent, have no women at all in their top five rainmakers, the NAWL survey revealed.
