High Court To Weigh State Role In Class Actions

Law360, New York (October 29, 2009, 6:05 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court will consider a ruling in a failed class action against Allstate Insurance Co. that, if upheld, could prompt more state legislatures to exert control over the power of the federal courts to certify class actions.
